Ladies Under 10 Update

The Edenderry ladies Under 10 team played their fourth game in the Offaly League campaign on Wednesday evening last June 20th with an away fixture against near neighbours Rhode. The girsl have acquitted themselves very well in all the games so far and after a 2 week break due to the inclement weather they were slow to start in this one. However the girls soon found their stride and improved greatly as the game went on notching up some very impressive scorres. This was a very good game of football played by two great footballing sides and was a great workout for both clubs. Thanks to Rhode for hosting and well done to all the girls and to our great captain on the night Kellie Oglesby. We had another great turnout of players who were as follows: Amy Lynch, Kiah Farrelly, Ciara Conlon, Amy Dunne, Katie Dunne, Kellie Oglesby (capt), Maria Doyle, Tara Dunne. Leah Callan, Sarah Lynch, Michelle Cullen, Sophie Clancy, Zara Rowe, Ellie Maher, Stephanie Williams, Keeryna Ruru and Kaitlyn Jones.

Good luck Keeryna: The game proved to be the very last for one of our most dedicated under 10 players Keeryna Rura as her family are moving to Australia next week. We have really enjoyed Keeryna’s lovely personality and her excellent football skills (despite being a native of New Caledonia) and we wish her and her family every good wish as they leave our shores.
