Senior League V St. Rynaghs

Edenderry Senior ladies continued their league campaign against St. Rynaghs in Clara on Friday evening last. The reds fielded a very youthful due to many of the team panel missing due to County commitments. Edenderry had a good opening period with many of the U16 girls showing great displays of football. The second half was a much tougher encounter. St. Rynaghs finished very strong and ran out convincing winners in the end.  The girl’s next league fixture is a semi- final meeting against neighbours Rhode on Friday next. Time and venue to be confirmed.

GAA Club Season Launch Evening 2012

The Edenderry GAA club’s official season launch last Tuesday 27th March was a very entertaining and informative evening with some insightful and passionate speeches given by all speakers Paul O’Kelly, Brian Gavin, Peter Brady and particularly the main guest speaker Colm O’Rourke who reminded all present to encourage more ladies involvement in coaching and managing teams. The question and answer session was a great opportunity for the audience to have their say and all present really enjoyed the banter amongst the guests and the audience. Well done to the club for organising such a wonderful evening.
