Edenderry Ladies GAA Notes

The Offaly ladies Feile Under 14 competition which was due to be played throughout the county last weekend was cancelled at short notice which was a major disappointment to our Under 14 ladies team.

Our Senior ladies team are due to play St. Rynaghs in the third round of their league campaign this weekend. Time and venue still to be finalised.

Our Under 10 ladies are taking part in the Kildare Spring League this year and their first fixture is this coming Saturday March 24th with a game against Ballyna at 11.00am in the Clogherinkoe. The girls will play five games in total and all games are being played under the Go Games model with the emphasis on participation and development

St. Patricks Day Parade.

The St. Patricks Day Parade held on Saturday last in Edenderry was a huge success and our ladies turned out in great numbers in their club colours to support the parade, led by our Under 16 girls with their championship trophy from 2011. Thank you to all players and parents for joining in and well done to Edenderry Town FC and the main organising committee for organising what was a very enjoyable day for the town

Nursery Training:

Our Girls Nursery Training continues every Friday evening in the secondary school hall from 5.00 to 6.00pm for Under 12s (girls born in 2000 and 2001 and from 6.00 to 7.00pm for all girls Under 10 (born in the years 2002-2006). We particularly welcome new players who would like to come along and enjoy the sessions. There is a charge of €2 per player for the rent of the hall.
