Red Ryan scores 3-4 as reds run riot in Daingean

The Junior 'C' footballers had a fantastic win on Sunday night when they travelled to Daingean for the second round of the championship.

Led by the inspirational Daniel 'Red' Ryan, the reds held a healthy half time lead with the defence forces employee scoring 3-4 in the opening 30 minutes. The self declared 'Best player of his generation' was thrilled with the victory and said he's delighted to be helping out guys like Johnny Hurst and Basil Malone fulfill their lifetime ambition of lifting the Junior C cup.

"I've taken Basil and Johnny under my wing. Two good lads but they just need a bit of guidance. I'm happy to help them out" Ryan declared after the historic victory.
