Hurlers win again

Edenderry 1-09

Crinkle 1-06

The Reds kept their winning ways on track with a hard fought win over Crinkle in a hot Edenderry last Saturday.  No timber was spared in this clash and scores were at a premium but a strong finish from the Reds saw them over the line.  This team is beginning to gain some momentum and with two rounds remaining in the group stages Edenderry are well positioned in the group.  Currently second and they play the two bottom teams in the final rounds.  If Edenderry keep their form a 1st or 2nd place finish is a real possibility and a route to the County final is achievable.  This team could be the surprise package in the club this year, with James Merrick, Peter Manley, David Hanlon, Derek Kelly and Shane & Eoghan Kelly hurling well a great team spirit is building.  Best of luck to Jimmy O’Grady and his team in the remaining group games.
