The Edenderry Ladies GAA club had a very successful fundraising evening
on Thursday last May 31st in the GAA field for a very worthy cause.
Our under 12 girls played a game against the Rhode under 12s whilst the half
time entertainment was provided via a mini game of under 10 girls between both
clubs. A great crowed turned out and contributed to a fantastic evening so well
done to all involved in organising the event. The club would like to say thanks
to a number of people who contributed, referee Martin McCarthy, photographer
Joan O’Brien, Ger Smullen for his lovely gesture, Dermot Hall, all the team
mentors from both sides and a particular mention to everyone in the Rhode GAA
club who played in a huge part in making the evening a great success, very much
appreciated. What a fantastic occasion it was to see these two great clubs work
together on such an important venture for a very special cause. Well done to
all. |
