The 5th season of our very successful CÚL REDZ coaching nursery came to a close on Saturday last, with a massive morning in the club.  112 Children turned up on Saturday for some coaching from our current stars.  In fact over the course of the Summer 2015, 151 children registered at CÚL REDZ, this is in keeping with previous years and we are delighted with the continued success of the programme.

Many thanks to the parents of the children for ensuring their attendance each week. Our coaches are continually astonished to meet such mannerly children week in week out.  They are a credit to their parents and their wider families.

On Saturday last members of the successful Edenderry Senior Football Team were on hand to coach the children.  This was much appreciated by the club as these players are currently training hard in advance of a County Semi Final and continuously giving it back to their club. We are very proud of this current crop of players.

We are just as proud of our County Stars and the Edenderry representatives on the Offaly Ladies Football team were also on hand to help with the coaching.  The girls, who play the All-Ireland Intermediate Semi-Final Vs. Kildare next week were only too happy to come along and assist.  We wish the girls the very best next week.  We are so proud of their achievements to date and are grateful that they too can give it back to the club when required.

The final day was fabulous and each player was presented with a 2015 CÚL REDZ Medal and Certificate of Attendance to mark their achievements for 2015.  As an extra surprise the Club arrange for an Ice-Cream Van to arrive just as the session ended and the Club bought each child and ice-cream to finish the session.

We are currently planning for next year to make it bigger and better...keep posted!
