32-32-32 CHARITY EVENT COMES TO EDENDERRY GAA CLUB

Seven Tyrone Gaels are taking part in a Charity Event on July 24th to July 28th, in which they will travel around Ireland taking a penalty at one GAA pitch in all of the 32 Counties. They are asking every GAA Club to donate €32 to the Simon Communities of Ireland, a charity that deals with the homeless in Ireland. On their travels, they will sleep on the streets as a mere gesture and nothing compared to the relentless efforts by the homeless to survive on the streets all year round. They will arrive in Edenderry GAA pitch for 1pm on Thursday July 27th.

Plunkett 'Oz' McCallan of Carrickmore, who has played in more senior club finals than any other player in Tyrone, winning six O'Neill Cup medals, will be between the posts to face 32 penalties from his fellow club man, well known politician Barry McElduff. Both men are best known for being a thorn in the side of the authorities.

Details of this novel charity event can be found on their website, www.32-32-32.com or by emailing info@32-32-32.com. Why not come along and support them in Newport or elsewhere on their charity journey for the homeless.

This will coincide with our Kelloggs GAA CUL CAMP so they will have lots of support in the pitch that day
